One of the seven matrilineal clans (abusua) of the Nzema. An academic list gives the seven as Twea, Ezohile, Alɔnwɔba, Nvavile, Adahonle, Azanwule and Mafole. Community and blog sources attach emblems to it (palm kernel and a bird), but they disagree on which bird.
Her mother belonged to the Adahonle clan, and so did she.
