Subscribe now and your first envelope will be the December edition, delivered between 1 and 14 December.
When was the last time something exciting arrived in your post box?
Not a bill. Not an advert. Not something you ordered and forgot about. We mean a real envelope—addressed to you, filled with beautiful things, stories to discover and something worth keeping.
In Ghana, many of us do not use post-office boxes as often as we once did. Yet they are still around. You might find one connected to your parents’ home, an old family house, a school, an office or somewhere within your community. The Si Hene Mail Club is bringing some of that excitement back.
Every month, we will send you a small piece of everyday Ghana through the post—or deliver it directly to you. Each edition explores an object, sound, place, tradition or memory that forms part of daily life in Ghana.
Opened Mail Club parcel: letter, postcard, stickers, archival sleeve
Month by month, your collection will grow.
Each month, we will invite you to choose one photograph connected to the theme. It could be an old family photograph, a recent phone print, a portrait, a celebration, a building, an object or an everyday moment you do not want to forget.
You will place the photograph inside the archival sleeve and use the metadata card to record what you know: who is pictured, where it was taken, when it was made, who took it and why the memory matters.
