Why Si Hene is a membership

Si Hene is a living archive, and the people who use it keep it going. Membership opens the Centre in Accra and your own portal, My Si Hene, and every fee goes back into collecting, caring for and sharing Ghana’s heritage.

Institutional Membership

Museums, galleries, archives, universities & cultural organisations

Institutional membership establishes your organisation’s presence within Si Hene’s living archive. Your collections, research and expertise are connected to Si Hene’s records and made accessible to members, researchers and communities in Ghana and internationally. Membership includes a dedicated institutional portal for five named representatives, through which your organisation may explore the archive, publish opportunities, develop programmes and visits, submit collection requests and maintain its profile on the Partners page. Extra seats above the base five are raised by Si Hene staff for partnership reasons — there is no self-serve seat purchase.
