Adzovia is one of the fifteen clans (hlɔ) of the Anlo Ewe listed by Greene (1981). Following Nukunya (1969), the Anlo king is chosen from one of two royal clans, Adzovia or Bate, which rotate the kingship, with the clan elders selecting from candidates put forward by the clan's sections.
Adzovia is named among the Anlo clans.
