Agbezuge is the protagonist of Sam J. Obianim's Ewe-language novel Amegbetɔa alo Agbezuge ƒe Ŋutinya (E.P. Church Press, Ho, 1949), known in English as The Tragedy of Agbezuge. The novel, set in pre-colonial Eweland, has been a set text for West African Examinations Council examinations.
Agbezuge is the title character of a well-known Ewe novel.
