The oral origin story of the Kundum festival. A hunter, Akpoley (Akpole), comes upon dwarfs dancing in a circle, learns their dance and brings it back to his town, where it becomes the dance that drives evil spirits from the community. The Esiama chief's website records variant versions, one naming a couple from Aboade as the witnesses.
