Anyako is an Anlo Ewe town on the Keta Lagoon in the Volta Region of Ghana. Westermann (1905) mentions it repeatedly: as the home of Spieth's language assistant, as the seat of a deity, Agbosu, and in connection with Tesi, a deity of the Anlo living in Kleve forest near Anyako. Wikipedia notes it as the birthplace of the artist El Anatsui.
