A legendary early king of the Ga in migration traditions. Reindorf (1895) names 'the Akra King Ayi Kushi' and his son Ayite as leaders of the Ga, and records that when the Asere asked for ruling power Ayi Kushi retired into the sea after handing his sword to Ayite, who founded the capital at Ayawaso.
Ga traditions remember Ayi Kushi as an early leader of the people.
