A coastal lagoon at Tema, studied with the Laloi lagoon as wetlands of the Tema Export Processing Zone (Annang 2000). The Ghana News Agency (2026) reports that Tema's ancestors settled between the Sakumo and Chemu lagoons, regarded as sustaining and spiritually protecting the community.
