The close linguistic and historical relationship between the Ga and the Dangme (Adangme). Britannica describes the Adangme (Ada, Kpone, Krobo, Ningo, Osudoku, Prampram and Shai) as all speaking variants of Ga-Adangme of the Kwa branch of Niger-Congo; Reindorf (1895) gives a separate chapter to the origin of the Adangme.
Ga and Dangme are closely related languages.
