Annual festival of the chiefs and people of the Ve Traditional Area near Hohoe, celebrated in November. The name is glossed 'coming out of the wall', commemorating the Ve ancestors' escape from Notsie: they weakened part of the city wall and fled at night, walking backwards to mislead pursuers.
