Narrow-strip loom weaving of cotton cloth in Gonjaland, centred on Daboya in North Gonja District. It is closely tied to indigo dyeing in dye pits and to the making of smocks (fugu).
Daboya remains the best-known centre of Gonja weaving and indigo dyeing.
