The lagoon deity of Accra, and the Korle Lagoon itself. Field (1940) lists Kole among the big Kple gods of Accra; Matczynski (2022) lists Naa Kɔɔle among the jemawɔji; the British Library EAP540 project describes Korle We as the shrine to the goddess of the lagoon. The name also occurs in districts such as Korle Gonno and Korle Bu.
Offerings at the lagoon are made to Korle.
