In Afa (Fa) divination, the kpoli is a person's life sign, the divinatory figure revealed for an individual that is understood to govern his or her destiny. Rosenthal notes that each person has a life sign (kpoli), of which there are 256 in total, corresponding to the combinations of the Afa system. Venkatachalam's study of the Anlo indexes kpoli under Afa divination.
