A Yaa Naa (king of Dagbon) of the early period, known from oral tradition. In the drum history recorded in Chernoff's 'A Drummer's Testament', he is the brother of Naa Zoŋ and succeeds Naa Dariʒɛɣu, who had died fighting the Gonja. He then leads the First Gonja War, defeating the Gonja chief Kaluɣsi Dajia. The same account says four of his sons later ruled one after another.
In the drum history, Naa Luro avenges Naa Dariʒɛɣu by leading Dagbon in the First Gonja War.
