In Buli, naab is two different nouns: (1) 'chief, king' (pl. naliman) and (2) 'cow, bull' (pl. niingan). It appears in titles such as Sandemnaab, the chief of Sandema. The related Gurune word is naba, 'chief'. It is not a Kasem term.
