Ntereso is an archaeological site on a ridge above the White Volta, west of Tamale, excavated and published by Oliver Davies. It is assigned to the Late Stone Age Kintampo Tradition and has radiocarbon dates from several layers. Finds include harpoons, fish hooks, fired clay and post material from structures, figurines, rasps and shell beads.
The Kintampo Tradition levels at Ntereso, above the White Volta, produced harpoons, fish hooks and clay figurines.
