Osode (osoode) is a recreational Akan music tradition that began in Cape Coast and spread to other Akan communities; one account places its origin as wartime entertainment. It has been continually recontextualised, notably in a highlife rendition developed by C. K. Mann.
The group performed osode at the community celebration.
