Sasadu is an acronym for the Sovie, Alavanyo, Saviefe, Akrofu Development Union, which links four neighbouring Ewe communities that trace their origins to Notsie. It also names the annual Sasadu Festival, usually held in October on a rotational basis, with a durbar of chiefs, to renew fraternal relations among the four communities.
