Tengzug is a Talensi settlement and sacred landscape in the Tong Hills, about 16 km from Bolgatanga. It holds the Tongnaab ancestor shrine and earth shrines and hosts the Boaram and Gologo festivals. Ghana submitted 'Tenzug – Tallensi settlements' to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2000.
