Nketia, in his paper in the Colloquium on Negro Art (Dakar, 1966), notes that recreational music is performed by bands each specialising in one or two musical types, and names amedzulo, tuumatu and tsuimli as examples found in Ga communities. No fuller description of the genre was found.
