A Dagbon dish made from dried yam slices ground into flour and steamed. Graphic Online (18 Oct 2024) says the flour is rolled into small grains and eaten with sauce, shea butter or groundnut oil, and fish, beans or vegetables, and describes preparation taboos observed in Dagbon.
Wasawasa made from yam flour was served with a spicy sauce.
