Wulomo is an unaccented spelling of wulɔmɔ, the Ga traditional priest who serves a deity (wɔŋ). Zimmermann (1858) glosses wulɔmɔ (= wolɔmɔ) as 'highest priest' and explains wolɔmɔ as literally 'person of the deity'. Adu (2021) lists the priest (wulɔmɔ) alongside the medium (wɔŋtsɛ) and medicine man (tsofatsɛ) as ritual officials.
The wulomo poured libation at the start of the ceremony.
