Yagbum (Yabum) is a town in the Savannah Region remembered as the early capital of the Gonja kingdom, founded when the Ngbanya crossed the Black Volta under Naba'a in the sixteenth century.
According to Wilks, the Ngbanya ruler Naba'a established Yagbum as the capital of Gonja.
