An honorary chieftaincy title, 'chief of friendship' (zɔsimdi 'friendship' + naa 'chief', per David Eddyshaw on Languagehat). It is conferred on friends of Dagbon from outside, including foreign visitors, through an enskinment ceremony. Eddyshaw stresses it is 'not any sort of royal title'.
The visitor was enskinned as a Zosimli Naa in recognition of friendship with the community.
